Lost Odyssey free on Xbox One, Blue Dragon also compatible
Two of the Xbox 360‘s best JRPGs are finally available for download on the Xbox One. Both Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey are available on the South African Xbox Store, with the latter free for a limited time.
You have until the end of December to claim your free copy of Lost Odyssey. Even if you don’t own an Xbox One, get them anyways as it’s an excellent title.
Along with Lost Odyssey, both of its expansions, Seeker of the Deep! and Triple Bonus pack, are also available for download but aren’t free.
The games are a product of Japanese video game developer Mistwalker, which was founded by Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi. While it may seem strange that both Xbox 360 titles weren’t developed for the PlayStation 3 as well, Microsoft initially backed the studio in the hopes of attracting a stronger following in Japan.
Blue Dragon is currently R199 on the SA Xbox Store and is just under 20GB for the download, while Lost Odyssey is 22.4GB.
