More Fire Emblem goodness set for 3DS, Switch
We’ve already covered Fire Emblem Heroes on mobile, but Nintendo faithful will also be getting three other Fire Emblem games.
The Nintendo Switch will be receiving a new, unnamed title in the Fire Emblem series next year, the company confirmed. Little was revealed about the new game, save for the fact that it would be a “new, mainline game” for the first time since 2007’s Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn on the Wii.
Got a 3DS? Then you’ll be receiving a Fire Emblem title on 19 May, in the form of Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, being an updated version of 1992’s Fire Emblem Gaiden.
In addition to mobile platforms, Fire Emblem will be getting games on 3DS and Switch, Nintendo confirmed
“Every aspect of the Fire Emblem Gaiden game’s presentation has been updated, along with the game being fully voiced. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia recreates classic Fire Emblem gameplay with a modern twist, mixing in exploration of dungeons crawling with enemies,” Nintendo wrote in a news release.
Switch and New 3DS owners will be getting a third Fire Emblem title of sorts, with the launch of Fire Emblem Warriors later this fall (northern hemisphere).
Much like Hyrule Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors will see the Nintendo-backed franchise join forces with Koei-Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors series.
