Starcraft Remastered is actually a thing now
It’s been almost 20 years since the Starcraft franchise saw its first entry, now, Blizzard has announced Starcraft Remastered. So what should you expect?
Blizzard confirmed that remastered visuals, “revised” dialogue and audio and comic book interludes are part of the overhauled title. The game will also come with the Brood War expansion.
Don’t expect a full-on upgrade in the visual department though, as higher resolutions are the biggest update here. So expect the same fundamental visuals, albeit with a cleaner look and widescreen support.
The game has also seen a welcome upgrade in terms of online connectivity, delivering Blizzard’s matchmaking and friends services.
Otherwise, you can expect Starcraft Remastered to launch in “summer” (our winter, then). Check out the trailer below.
