Hisense C30 Rock Lite set for South Africa next month
The Hisense C30 Rock (review) wasn’t the most well-received handset at Gearburn, but it’s one of the few rugged smartphones out there. And at R3999, it’s not badly priced either.
Still, if you thought the C30 Rock could do with a cheaper but similarly tough stablemate, the C30 Rock Lite is indeed a thing. And it’s coming to South Africa.
Hisense announced that the device would be coming to the country next month, featuring a recommended price of roughly R2499.
The phone packs a budget-focused 1.3Ghz octacore processor (presumably Snapdragon 400-series), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, a 5-inch 720p display, IP67 water/dust resistance, shock resistance and a large 3900mAh battery.
The camera department features an 8MP main shooter and a 5MP selfie camera.
