Apple Watch Series 4 may feature a 15% larger screen, more bells and whistles

Apple Watch review 3

Hot on the heels of its refreshed 9.7-inch iPad announcement, rumours abound today suggest that the Apple Watch Series 4 will feature a number of tweaks and buffs over its predecessor.

Debuting in September 2017, the third Apple Watch refresh featured LTE connectivity, and Apple Music on your wrist.

But the fourth iteration is said to review the current Watch formula entirely.

Everyone’s favourite Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, cited by 9To5Mac, suggests that the Series 4 will be bigger in some aspects, last longer and boast improved health monitoring.

The report isn’t very granular, but the analyst does suggest 15% more screen real estate alongside “upgrades to the health sensors”. Additionally, a larger battery could also be in play, hiding behind a tweaked “trendy” design.

We sincerely hope “trendy” isn’t an Apple synonym for “notch”.

Nevertheless, as we hurtle towards Apple’s WWDC scheduled for June 2018, and Apple’s big September iPhone launch, expect an uptick of rumours in the coming weeks.
