The Nokia 2.1 is now available in South Africa.
Announced globally in May, the 2.1 is HMD Global’s next Android Go phone to hit the country after the Nokia 1.

It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 128GB.
Up front there’s a 1280×720 5.5 inch screen with a 5MP selfie camera above it. The Nokia 2.1 also touts dual stereo speakers.
Around the back, an 8MP snapper with autofocus is your primary camera, while a 4000mAh battery keeps the device powered for a claimed two days.
Other niceties include LTE support, FM radio support and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s no fingerprint reader present on the device.
