Telkom announces contract pricing for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max
Telkom on Friday announced its contract pricing information for the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max.
Both phones are available to preorder from today, but will only ship come 28 September. But, if the cash pricing announced yesterday hasn’t put you off, Telkom’s offering one version of each device on its FreeMe contracts.
For starters, the iPhone XS 64GB will start at R999pm for 24 months, this on the 1GB FreeMe package. This can however stretch to R1899pm for 24 months if you select the company’s FreeMe Unlimited Package.
The iPhone XS Max is also only offered in its 64GB guise, but will start at R1099pm for 24 months on the FreeMe 1GB package. Selecting the FreeMe Unlimited Package pushes that price up to R1999pm for 24 months.
For comparison, Telkom’s also offering the iPhone X 64GB for R799pm on the FreeMe 1GB. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is also R799pm, while the Huawei P20 Pro is priced at R569 per month.
