LG K12+ mid-ranger leaks, will feature Mediatek chip, no notch

Earlier this week, LG South Africa promised us that mid-range devices would be unveiled by the company in 2019.
Today, a global leak suggests that one of those devices will be a new phone from its K series.
The LG K12+ has been spotted by Tigermobiles, and is set to feature a octacore Mediatek Helio P22 (MT6762) chipset, 3GB of RAM, and a 1440×720 screen.
Interestingly, there’s also no notch in sight.
It’s not clear what the LG K12+’s killer feature will be, but the device will likely launch alongside the LG G8 ThinQ, a phone which is set to debut with a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera.
