We already have the Huawei P30 Lite. We have the Honor 10 Lite. The Huawei P8 Lite 2018 was also a thing last year. And this year, there’s a Huawei Mate 20 Lite too. But would you believe there’s yet another “Lite” Huawei incoming?
German tech blog WinFuture (translated) published new details of the device on Monday, noting that consumers can expect “hefty” upgrades over last year’s model.

The phone is expected to retain its 5.84 inch display but will do without the notch or the popup camera on the P Smart Z. In its place is a punch hole camera.
This is the Huawei P20 Lite 2019 – same size, but punch hole camera on the front and four camera sensors on rear: https://t.co/gqZWsRe1hf

It’s also said to sport the HiSilicon Kirin 710 (surprise, surprise), WiFi 801.11 ac support, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and LTE. You can also look forward to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with a microSD card slot (not Huawei’s NM card).
Finally, going full-Samsung, Huawei’s slapping four cameras on the back of this mid-ranger. The primary camera is set to sport a 24MP sensor. We could possibly see a wide-angle, telephoto and time-of-flight snapper too — a similar setup to the current P30 range — but the report doesn’t confirm this.
Huawei has yet to confirm the existence of this device, but WinFuture believes we could be looking at a price point around the €300 mark (R4800 in direct currency exchange). So expect it to almost directly compete with its own P30 Lite sibling should it hit our shores.
