Samsung’s Notebook 7 range looks an awful lot like MacBooks
Samsung on Monday revealed the Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 force, a pair of laptops that look strikingly similar to Apple’s MacBook Pro.
“The slim and portable Notebook 7 includes diamond-cut edges and a near bezel-less display, with enhanced comfort and usability features that make it ideal for everyday use,” the company said in a press release.
Indeed, these outward features result in a very MacBook-like aesthetic for the Notebook 7.
The new laptops’ displays measure 13- and 15-inches respectively, and also feature 1920×1080 resolution along with Dolby Atmos audio. The device’s storage can be expanded via an extra SSD slot as well.
The Notebook 7 further includes Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1650 graphics and Gigabit WiFi, as well as a card reader slot and HDMI 2.0, USB-C, and USB 3.0 ports.
“A reengineered Lattice keyboard and ultra-wide Precision Touchpad let you effortlessly navigate and multitask with laser accuracy,” Samsung noted.
The Notebook 7 and Notebook 7 Force will go on sale in late 2019, in South Korea, Hong Kong, Brazil and the US.
