iPhone 11 pricing: here’s what you’ll pay in South Africa
The 2019 iPhone 11 series today received its South African pricing details, and you’re going to need a pretty penny to afford them.
Following the iStore’s release of the Apple Watch Series 5 pricing details, the local reseller also shed light on Apple’s smartphones.
For starters, the cheapest iPhone 11 you’ll be able to buy will cost R14 999. That’s for the 64GB iPhone 11 (effectively the 2019 iPhone XR replacement).
Add R2000 for 128GB, and R4000 for the 256GB model.
The iPhone 11 Pro 64GB is priced at R21 999. There’s no 128GB model, so the 256GB model is priced R5000 higher. For the 512GB model, you’re looking at R29 999.
Oh, and it gets pricier.
The iPhone 11 Max Pro is also available in three storage options: 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. These prices are R23 999, R28 499 and R32 999, respectively.
Woof.
iStore is also offering users of current iPhones up to the iPhone 7 to trade in their devices. Said device will shave up to R4000 off the price of your new phone.
If you have an iPhone XS Max, you could get up to R10 000 off your new device.
iStore is also offering an extended warranty and screen replacement service for R1999.
As for availability, the phones can be preordered from 20 September, and will ship from 27 September 2019. The devices will be available on Vodacom, MTN and Telkom networks.
