Huawei won’t launch the Mate 30 series in South Africa for quite some time, but that doesn’t mean its global roll out has slowed.
Malaysian publication The Star on Thursday announced that the country will be the second (after China) to welcome the sale of the devices.

Initially, the Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will be available for pre-order in the country, and arrive with a number of “gifts” for some Malaysian fans, including the SuperCharge in-car charger, the DJI Osmo Mobile 3, and Huawei Care extended warranties.
As for the price, Huawei will sell the 128GB storag/8GB RAM Mate 30 for RM2799 (around R10 150), and the 256GB/8GB Mate 30 Pro for RM3899 (about R14 100).
It’s somewhat good news for Huawei fans, which have had to endure a topsy-turvy week in the midst of the ongoing US/Huawei trade dispute.
