If you had told me in May that Google would be responsible for leaking a Huawei device in 2019, especially after the US entity list debacle, I would’ve laughed in your face.
But this weekend, the company did just that.

According to an Android Enterprise Solutions listing spotted by PiunikaWeb, the Huawei Nova 5T Pro is a thing that exists, or is about to exist in any case.
Phones listed by Google’s Enterprise Solutions are “devices that meet Google’s highest standards. With regular security updates guaranteed. And partners trained to support all things Android,” the company explains.
So, effectively, yes. That means the Nova 5T Pro is as good as confirmed.
As for specs, Google lists the phone’s hard numbers too.
Complete with a punch hole selfie camera, the Nova 5T Pro reportedly sports a 5.5-inch display, 8GB of RAM, and a choice of 128GB or 512GB of internal storage.
The listing comes after the launch of the Nova 5T in South Africa, and the official teaser of the Nova 6 published by Huawei to Weibo last week.
Although the Nova line is considerably congested, one might argue, the Pro does have one thing going for it: it could be the compact smartphone users have desperately craved in 2019.
