With today’s discerning consumer demanding that their wearable tech be as functional as it is fashionable, the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series steps boldly…
Garmin’s new tactical smartwatch has a privacy-focused ‘stealth mode’
Garmin on Monday revealed its latest tactical smartwatch in the form of the Tactix Delta, it’s new “ruggedly designed” wearable device.
Featuring an updated 1.4-inch display and stealth mode, the new military standard device is Garmin’s biggest round-faced watch and most privacy-focused.
With stealth mode, you can disable both “storing and sharing of your location” and even erase your device’s memory with a “kill switch”.
The watch also features “dual position mode” which can display two sets of co-ordinates at once and Power Manager, which can give users 21-80 days of extended battery life in power-saving mode.
“In addition to the wide variety of tactical features, the tactix Delta includes top performance metrics for outdoor activities, support for training and overall wellness features,” Garmin further noted in a press release.
The Tactix Delta also includes music storage for up to 2000 songs so users can download music from their favourite streaming sites without having to stream directly from their smartphones.
“It also features support for Garmin Paycontactless payment solution, so users don’t have to worry about carrying cash or cards,” Garmin also said.
The rugged device is currently available to purchase for $899.
