The only way Sony could screw up its latest mid-range smartphone is setting a price that’s too high. Otherwise, 2020 is shaping up to be a good phone year for the Japanese firm.
On Monday, alongside the Sony Xperia 1 II announcement, the second iteration of the Sony Xperia 10 was unveiled.

The phone sports a 21:9 6.0-inch display like its predecessor, but swaps the LCD for an OLED panel. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6 too, something you usually find on flagships only.
Internally, it sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and a 3600mAh battery.
You’ll find three cameras at the rear too, headlined by a 12MP main camera and two 8MP snappers for ultra-wide and telephoto shots. There’s also an 8MP camera up front.
The phone’s water and dust resistant too, with an IP65/68 rating.
Sony’s yet to announce pricing or availability details, but you should expect the phone to be available in white or black in international markets from Q2 2020.
