Oppo A15 and A53s come to South Africa – price and details

The latest Oppo smartphones to arrive in South Africa — the A15 and A53s — will launch on 7 November, bring two new affordable smartphones to our shores.

The announcement was made by Oppo South Africa, following the October launch of the Oppo A72.

Both of the new devices come with full Google Mobile Services and prices under R5000.

The Oppo A15 is for budget-minded users, but still sports a triple camera and 4230mAh.

Meanwhile, the A53s has a slightly higher price tag but comes with a display that features a 90Hz refresh rate — a rare feature for phones in the mid-range market.

Oppo A15: specs and price in South Africa

The Oppo A15 will go on sale in South Africa from 7 November for a price of R2 999.

It will be available from Vodacom, Foschini, Cellucity, 4U, Chatz, Hi, and Game.

Oppo A53s: specs and price in South Africa

The Oppo A53s also goes on sale on 7 November, with a price of R4999. The phone will be available to buy from Vodacom, Foschini, Cellucity, 4U, Chatz, Hi, and Game.

It offers higher specs than the A15, with more RAM and battery capacity.

The phone interestingly has a display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Other features include a triple-lens main camera and 18W fast charging support.
