Telkom announces contract prices for Huawei P Smart 2021

Telkom has announced its contract prices and deals for the Huawei P Smart 2021 on its FreeMe plans.

The deals are available from 17 February. Huawei launched the smartphone late last year.

It features a 5000mAh battery, a 48MP quad camera, and a 6.67-inch display.

It is aimed at providing an affordable option for consumers who still want a long-lasting battery and high-resolution camera.

“This phone is ideal for the tech savvy user looking for all the key features of a good quality smart phone without compromising on looks,” Gugu Mthembu, Telkom’s Chief Marketing Officer, said in a statement.

“We always want to bring our customers the most innovative and compelling products and services; and we are excited about this product.”

The smartphone replaces the Huawei Y9s in South Africa.

Prices range from R289 per month on the Telkom FreeMe 800MB package to R1 379 per month on FreeMe Unlimited.

The deals also include a free Bluetooth headset valued at R699, according to Telkom.

The smartphone is available in Black and Blush Gold.
