HUAWEI has released the Intel version of its MateBook D 14 laptop in South Africa, bringing the performance of Intel hardware to the familiar lightweight and affordable MateBook D range.

HUAWEI’s MateBook family is made for easy portability and ultimate productivity. The new MateBook D 14 is no different in this regard, featuring a lightweight form factor that is both stylish and sleek.
Weighing only 1.38kg, the laptop offers a generous 14-inch FullView IPS display. And with an 84% screen-to-body ratio and minimal 4.8mm bezels, you still have a lot of screen to work with on the lightweight device.
There are also familiar HUAWEI innovations that add to the experience, including a recessed webcam in the keyboard, a fingerprint sensor for security, and the inclusion of HUAWEI’s VIP Service when you purchase the device.

The major difference with the new HUAWEI MateBook D 14 is its internal hardware. It features a 10th-generation Intel i5 processor to deliver enhanced performance.
However, it also comes with a NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete graphics card, bringing the extra power needed to perform more complex tasks.
According to HUAWEI, users can enjoy up to 3.5 times faster image and video editing & processing when compared to integrated graphics.
It also comes with 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB of SSD storage.
