“The 2021 Neo QLED TV is an amazing new addition to an ecosystem of connected and intelligent devices that enhance the TV experience in exciting new ways,” Nivash Ramsern, Head of Visual Displays at Samsung South Africa, said in a statement.

What should you know about the new TV range?

The 2021 Neo QLED range includes premium technology from Samsung, as well as some unique features that set it apart from other televisions from the company.

Both 8K and 4K TVs in the range are available to order in South Africa, ranging from sizes of 55 inches to 85 inches.

The televisions are equipped with Neo Quantum processors, which improve their upscaling abilities and AI processing.

The screens also use Quantum Mini LEDs. Samsung says this reduces picture blooming, while delivering enhanced contrast and deeper shades of black.

For those who favour a slim design, the televisions feature minimal bezels and slim profiles.

They also include a range of smart TV features, including screen sharing, the ability to connect remotely to Windows 10 Pro devices, and even an enhanced mode for use when gaming.
