Here’s a look at each device and how much they will cost when they launch locally.
Asus Zenbook Pro 16X OLED
The Zenbook Pro 16X OLED is one of the larger additions to the Zenbook Pro line of laptops.
The 16-inch laptop is aimed at creators, with Asus saying that the laptop “redefines what a creator laptop should be”. Some of its key features include an Asus Dial, a touchpad with haptic feedback, and a tilting keyboard for improved airflow and typing comfort.
The device features a 4K 60Hz OLED touchscreen with HDR and stylus support. Meanwhile, its performance is powered by up to a 12th generation Intel Core i9 processer and up to a Nvidia GeForce RTX graphics card. It can also support up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM.
But as part of its design philosophy, the laptop is also slim and lightweight. The laptop weighs 2.4 kg and its body measures 16.9 mm thick. In terms of battery life, the device can provide up to 10 hours of working time thanks to its 96Wh battery.
Meanwhile, the Asus Dial can be used for creative editing. The rotary dial works with image editing and design software and allows you to easily adjust certain aspects of your image, such as saturation levels.
Outside of its creative uses, it can also be used as a shortcut for adjusting screen brightness and device volume. You can also customize its settings and the way it works in various apps.
Zenbook Pro 14 Duo
While it’s also a premium laptop aimed at creators and professionals, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo has a different take for its design.
Similar to the Zephyrus Duo gaming laptop from Asus, this device features two screens: the main screen and a second wide touchscreen above the keyboard.
This second screen, dubbed the ScreenPad Plus, tilts up for easier usability. It measures 12-7 inches with a 32:10 aspect ratio. The ScreenPad is aimed at providing additional productivity with its app and program shortcuts. This screen can also be used in conjunction with creative apps like Adobe Photoshop as a control panel, allowing you to adjust various effects and settings.
For the main display, the laptop is fitted with 14.5-inch a 2.8K OLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In addition to this, the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo includes up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor and up to a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card. This hardware aims to provide enough performance for 3D modelling rendering and other creative work.
Like the 16X Pro OLED, you can also opt for up to 32GB of RAM.
Despite the additional screen and the 76Wh battery, the laptop weighs only 1.7kg–delivering an ultraportable form factor that makes it easier to use on the go.
