Here are the smart tech innovations Lenovo unveiled at Tech World 22
Lenovo at its Tech World 2022 event this year unveiled a series of new concepts that will define the way people work, learn and engage in the digital world.
Laptops, PC’s, and smartphones were some of the products the brand unpacked alongside compelling interactive and holographic solutions called Cyber Spaces.
Lenovo chairman and CEO Yuanquing Yang said, “the power of innovation is not only digitalizing and smartifying all industries but also helping solve humanity’s greatest challenges. For that purpose, Lenovo is doubling our investment in R&D to use smarter technology to empower a rapidly changing world.”
What Lenovo unveiled:
Rollable form factor innovation
Both Lenovo and Motorola unpacked proof of concepts for smartphones and laptop PCs, designed to elevate multi-tasking, browsing and mobile use cases.
The rollable proof of concepts are compact and don’t sacrifice screen size, to enable content on screen to be dynamically adjusted to the device as the expandable screen rolls inward into the base of the laptop and smartphone.
Lenovo freestyle app
The Lenovo freestyle app allows universal control between a tablet and PC, to allow users to pair and transform their tablet into a portable second screen.
This allows the second screen to extend desktop space or a wireless touch screen for their laptop.
Lenovo also revealed it’s remote work enablement solution which is a premium service that allows remote workers to get set up quickly.
Cyber Spaces
Cyber spaces replicates immersive face to face experience by providing an interactive physical holographic solution for teamwork.
Lenovo AI
A quick thinking productive AI uses complex intelligence to address digitalization.
Smart Services solution
The Smart service solution forecasts repair needs and optimizes the network of parts, service engineers and logistics support.
Remote video collaboration solution
This will connect frontline workers with remote experts to perform or repair tasks through real time marks.
Virtual classroom solution
This feature offers virtual teachers to students, providing personalized tests and recommendations.
Lenovo also presented it’s ThinkEdge series of servers, the SE350 and SE450 which were shown to perform very well under tough conditions.
