Why 7000 mAh is trending, evolution of the Huawei nova Y series, Nova Y91

Chinese telecommunication and electronics giant Huawei has officially launched its latest addition to the Nova series, the Huawei Nova Y91 with a whooping 7000mAh battery.

The Huawei Y series comes from a long list of Huawei brand identities that survived even being discontinued.

The Y series has not only survived the test of time, but it’s a product line where Huawei introduces more price-savvy devices with a little more to offer than the average phone.

Think of decent specs, and features at an accommodating price range.

The recently launched Huawei Nova Y91 is trending for that specific reason.

The Y series has come a long way since the Huawei Y6 in 2015, through the Y3 in 2017, Huawei Y6, Y7, Y6 Pro in 2017, and the Huawei Y 7 Prim in 2019.

Looking back, we remember devices like the Huawei Y6P in 2020, Huawei Y9 in 2020, and one crowd favourite, the Huawei Y3 (2020).

Huawei Nova Y 91

This week Huawei introduces a battery-competent Huawei Y91 packed with some competent features.

It boasts the Y series popular Starry circle design, a 6.95″ display, and 7 000mAh battery as its best foot forward, but looking closely we noticed it comes with a 50 MP AI Dual camera system, immersive sound, and 300% super volume, courtesy of the dual speaker system.

Reading up on it we found a clever way the device is being tabled.

Something Huawei calls the continuous front/rear recording

The Huawei Nova Y91 switches easily between its front and rear camera to ensure users don’t miss a moment when capturing memories on video.

Packed with EMUI13, which Huawei only released this year (2023), users can expect a quick responding operating system on features like fingerprint authentication and facial recognition.

The device is trending and we figure it’s due to the 6.95-inch display inside a starry black or moonlight silver case framed by a narrow side bezel that is just 8.9mm thick.
