SA’s own Genital Jousting leaves Steam Early Access [‘semi’ NSFW]

Genital Jousting certainly stands out as one of the strangest games ever made, being a party game that has you playing as a bunch of penises. Seriously.

Now, South African developer Free Lives has announced that the game has left Steam’s Early Access programme, becoming a full-fledged release. Along with the release, we also get a single-player story mode, naturally.

“Play as John, a dick who wants to find a date for his high school reunion,” reads an excerpt of the emailed press release. “He’ll need some help along the way. He’s wobbly, he’s soft. But he wants to be hard. So very hard. He wants to show everyone his astounding rigidity. And with your help, that’s exactly what he’ll do.”

Free Lives adds that the story mode will be narrated, with an expected play-time of about 90 minutes.

It marks the latest release for the studio, having delivered Broforce before. Free Lives also has another title in Early Access, in the form of VR gladiator title GORN.

Genital Jousting is available on Steam for R58.
