Read Dead Redemption 2 gets pushed back to October
Red Dead Redemption 2 might be the most eagerly anticipated multi-platform game right now, but it turns out you’ll have to wait a little longer to get your hands on it.
Publisher Rockstar Games has announced a delay for the title, now scheduled for an October 2018 release.
“We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on 26 October 2018. We apologise to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish,” the studio wrote in a press release.
The sequel to the popular open-world Western was originally set for a late 2017 release before being shifted to a release window in the first half of 2018.
If you can’t wait that long for Rockstar goodness, you might want to check out the Rockstar Games Humble Bundle. The base pay-what-you-want tier offers Manhunt, Max Payne, GTA III and GTA: Vice City. Beat the average and you get Bully: Scholarship Edition, GTA: San Andreas, LA Noire and Max Payne 2.
Pay US$15 or more and you get LA Noire DLC, GTA IV, Episodes from Liberty City and Max Payne 3.
