HTC throws hat into tablet ring
The HTC Jetstream is due to hit the US market on Sunday, with launch provider named as AT&T. Availability in other markets is still to be confirmed.
The tablet will be equipped with a 10.1-inch (26 centimetre) screen, powered by a 1.5GHZ dual-core Snapdragon processor running Android 3.1 (Honeycomb). Yes, it will run Flash.
HTC’s choice of the 4G moniker in the US is in line with current practice in that country, where the GSMA has crumbled on its initial position that 4G technology is not yet available, and that HSPA+ and LTE are to be considered 3.5G+.
