HTC One X+ is a quad-core, 64GB, 1.7Ghz beast and it’s coming this month
Hell yes. One of our favourite phones in the mother-loving world is getting an update. HTC’s announced the One X+ and with a 1.7GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU, 64GB internal memory and the now standard 2100 mAh, as seen in the Samsung Galaxy S III. On to the less interesting stuff:
It’s getting the latest Android OS, which is 4.1, or Jelly Bean. There’s Beats Audio, which is the Dr Dre created speaker system embedded into the gorgeous frame of the One X range. For everyone not keen on customising their devices, HTC’s slapping on SenseTM 4+, the proprietary that’s been saddled with most HTC and Samsung smartphones. It sucks by the way.
About the Beats speakers, the HTC One X+ uses these babies in a whole new way and it’s called “Tap and Go”. Tap the One X+ too the Beats Speakers ‘4 and boom, music. But it’s just a snazzy way of saying “we’ve got NFC, and this is how we’re gonna use it”.
The device will be available in Europe and North Asia from October, and will be released in South Asia from November this year.
Anyway, that’s all you really need to know. Hit up this press release for the rest of the bland, but necessary details.
