Take note Samsung, HTC One Max joins phablet party with 5.9-inch screen
The HTC One Max phablet was but a rumour less than a month ago. But now, thanks to Taiwanese website ePrice, it’s a rumour with a photo.
The HTC One Max is out to be a bigger, faster HTC One and according to CNET, the One Max will compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note series, sporting a 5.9-inch screen and full 1080p resolution (according to the post on ePrice).
Other potential specs include 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory (which could go up to 64GB), a 3300mAh battery and it’s all expected to run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It might also sport a dual SIM and would be LTE compatible. Even though HTC has yet to confirm any of these details, there has been no word on whether the One Max will come with a Stylus or not.
German site Mobile Geeks has said that the device, codenamed T6, is expected to released September 2013. With the One Max, HTC will join the phablet arena, which already sees Sony and Samsung battling it out with Xperia Z Ultra against the Galaxy Mega and, of course, the Galaxy Note series.
