Ed Zarick, you might remember, was the chap responsible for shoving an Xbox and PlayStation into a laptop sized body for funsies, but his latest will definitely appeal to all you Star Wars lovers out there.

Fancy building a full-sized BB-8 Droid? Well, Zarick has, and it’s one of the most impressive DIY projects we’ve seen on the web in a long time.

Included are the lights, whistles and cat calls which made BB-8 a living, breathing character favourite in the movie, and of course, a self-built remote.
