Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 now available in South Africa

Finally, the company has announced that the Redmi Note 2 is heading our way, and will be priced at R2999.
“At R2,999 we are bringing the 5.5” form factor within reach of the majority of smartphone users in the country,” notes MIA president RJ van Spaandonk.
“Many comparable smartphones sell at double the price, and none of them retail below R4,000.”
