Here’s your first glimpse of the new Batmobile [Updated]
The Batmobile is one of the most important vehicles in the superhero universe, so whenever a new one comes around chances are expectations are going to be pretty high and pretty hard to meet.
You could therefore forgive Zack Snyder, director of the upcoming Batman vs Superman film, for being a little apprehensive about unveiling the car Ben Afleck will be driving around in when he faces off against Henry Cavill’s Superman.
You could be even more forgiving when you remember that the Tumbler, driven by Christopher Nolan’s Batman, is one of the most universally adored Batmobiles in the character’s history.
Nonetheless, Snyder took to Twitter to give us a glimpse of Batman’s new wheels.

While it’s pretty clear that it’s nowhere near as chunky as the Tumbler, it still has some pretty fat tyres. That said, it seems like it would be a little more street legal and look a little less like something designed to invade a small country than its most recent predecessor.
