Watch: Unpatched Witcher 3 hits 60fps on Xbox One X

We’ve already seen a PS4 Pro patch for The Witcher 3, bringing a host of improvements to the table. The Xbox One X patch is still in the works, but if you pop the disc in your new console, you should notice a leap to 60fps.

The Witcher 3 features an unlocked framerate, generally hovering at 20-40fps on standard Xbox One, Eurogamer noted in its initial technical breakdown.

Now, NX Gamer has used an unpatched physical copy on Xbox One X, resulting in a framerate that stands at 60fps. It’s worth noting that the game still runs at 1600×900 of course, so don’t expect a resolution improvement over the original Xbox One version. Check it out below.
