Broadway musical Cats gets its first movie trailer and horrifies Twitter
The world renowned Broadway play Cats is moving from the stage to the screen this December in the form of a live action movie that looks like the stuff of psychedelic nightmares.
On Thursday, Universal Pictures dropped the official star-studded trailer for Cats and gave audiences their first glimpse of furry human-cat hybrids singing and dancing as if they were the most awe-inspired cast of the century.
Unfortunately, it’s more awful than anything else, and Twitter agrees.
