Facebook goes crazy for Zuckerberg wedding
So it turns out people care a lot more about the fact that Mark Zuckerberg got married this weekend than they do about the fact that his company raised billion of dollars in its IPO.
Want proof? Just look at the number of likes each event has on the hoodied one’s timeline.
His marriage has over one-million likes:
His IPO announcement meanwhile only got 511 likes:
According to The Next Web, the wedding picture even surpasses Zuckerberg’s goodbye note to Steve Jobs, which had 580 000 likes.
There’s a couple of obvious take-homes from this. People like weddings way more than IPO’s and people really like the weddings of tech billionaires. I wonder if I’ve just spotted a niche in the market.
