Divas spoofed: meet off-Broadway’s latest viral sensation

Christina Bianco is getting pretty popular on YouTube and for good reason. The off-Broadway actress is enticing audiences with spot-on impressions of some of the world’s most popular musical divas and more. Her latest video on YouTube, which was added three days ago, has been viewed more than 800 000 times.

The video shows Bianco singing Bonnie Tyler’s pop classic “Total Eclipse of the Heart” as Adele and 18 more musical divas, including Celine Dion, Cher, Christina Aguilera and Shakira. Blanco is masterful at swapping from diva to diva, not just to their singing voice but also their stage personas as well. This video will have you stitches.

The impressionist gained popularity with roles in shows such as Newsical the Musical and Forbidden Broadway: Goes to Rehab.

Bianco has also been known to branch out from just using musicians in her sketches and other famous faces such as US politician Sarah Plain and actress Drew Barrymore as can be seen in her rendition of Katy Perry’s “Fireworks”.
