Apple releases kaleidoscopic video for Mac’s 30th birthday
Apple’s released a video celebrating 30 years of the Mac and while it might please some, we can’t help but feel that it will leave some of the more self-aware iFans out there cringing.
The video isn’t so much a celebration of the Mac’s anniversary as a chance for a bunch of devoted celebs to talk about how they absolutely depend on their machines to do, well, anything really.
In between, there’s a whole load of bright, shiny things set to the kind backing music familiar to anyone who’s ever watched any Apple ad ever. In that respect at least, Steve Jobs’ legacy remains solidly intact.
But seriously guys, Moby? He’s probably a nice guy and everything, but wouldn’t Stephen Fry (the nicest Mac zealot to have ever walked the earth) have been a better choice?
