From Julian Assange to startups: we’re liveblogging Net Prophet 2014
Are you ready for the latest edition of Africa’s largest entrepreneurship, innovation and startup event? We are. This year’s Net Prophet conference brings together a mix of entrepreneurs and leading minds in the technology space to discuss all things digital. Oh, and don’t forget Julian Assange.
The controversial Wikileaks founder will be this year’s headline speaker, calling in to the Cape Town-based event via WeChat video stream from his temporary home in the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where he has been staying since June 2012 to evade an extradition order. He will be joined by speakers such as eBay’s vice president of marketing Jody Ford, director of innovations at Ogilvy London Nicole Yershon and Quirk founder and group CEO Rob Stokes (to name a few).
We’ll be live blogging the highlights and key moments from this year’s event, starting from 8:00 CAT / SAST on Wednesday 21 May.
