Could Mumford and Sons be to blame for all those baby pics polluting your Facebook feed?

If you’re in your mid to late 20s, chances are your Facebook news feed is increasingly filled with pictures of babies, oh so many babies. Now, you could just put it down to the fact that you’re getting older, or you could do the obvious thing and blame Mumford & Sons.

Yup, that’s right: South African music comedy duo Derek Watts and the Sunday Blues, reckon British folk rock superstars are the root cause of all those baby pictures. Why? Well, it seems the combination of unusual stringed instruments, kick drum beats and slightly off key melodies just puts everyone in the mood for, well, baby making.
