Julius Malema appeared at the Polokwane High Court in South Africa on charges of fraud, money laundering and racketeering related to a Limpopo roads tender.
His upcoming trial has garnered much media attention, but Malema was in court for only short time before the case was postponed to 3 August 2015.
Malema then walked out of the court and addressed his supporters, who the night before had gathered at a vigil in Limpopo before making their way outside the court in the morning, chanting and ululating in support of their leader.
