New iPhone 6s ads showcase its camera and Siri’s hands free feature
Continuing its vigorous plan to show off the iPhone 6s and its features, Apple has released three new ads to show off the camera and Siri’s hands free capability. The camera ad highlights the device’s 4k video recording and live photo feature, adding that users can now take, find and share a photo in a new way. The Siri ads feature Jamie Foxx and are playful and humorous.
These commercials are nothing new from Apple, the company has long fancied the iPhone as having the best cameras. The Siri ads are to showcase the hands free feature of Siri. Hands free on Siri, now works the same as the ‘Okay Google’ feature does on Android, unlike before when users had to physically turn it on, they can shout some instructions to Siri and she will respond.

In one ad, Jamie Fox asks Siri to flip a coin as he struggles to choose which script to choose and in the other, titled ‘Crush’, Siri appears to have a crush on Jamie Foxx. When he asks Siri how he looks, Siri says “Judging from your voice, I’d say you must be fairly attractive” to which the actor replies by commenting Siri has a crush on him. Luckily for all of us, it ends there and does not descend into a sequel of Spike Jonze’s movie, Her.
The ads showcasing the camera are the company’s continued attempts to show everyone that the iPhone, this time the iPhone 6s, has the best camera. The iPhone 6s models have an improved camera on the iPhone 6s and 6s plus, bumping it from 8 megapixels to 12, introducing live photos and 4K video capabilities.
It is worth pointing out though that there is not a huge difference between the cameras as the iPhone 6 is good with low and high light, the difference is in the detail of the images. Similar to the video, the difference between HD and 4k is in how much data the other is able to capture in the footage.
