In an interview with Billboard the musician explained the politics of protest that inspired the album, most particularly the titled song “Nina Cried Power”.
“It’s looking at the great bonfire of the world and standing in a place of optimism and hope and solidarity,” Hozier added.
If you’re into the alternative scene, or need some soulful music in your life, I suggest you take some time to give Nina Cried Power a listen on the likes of Apple Music, Google Play Music and Spotify.
