Hellboy’s ‘red band’ trailer reveals action-packed British-based plot

A new trailer for the upcoming reboot of Hellboy has been released, giving fans a taste of what seems to be an action-packed dark comedy.

According to entertainment firm Lionsgate, the movie will follow the comic book character as he’s “caught between the worlds of the supernatural and human, battles an ancient sorceress bent on revenge”.

Hellboy will star David Harbour (Stranger Things) the snarky titular character , Milla Jovovich (Resident Evil) and Ian McShane (Deadwood, Pirates of the Caribbean).

The movie has officially been rated R for “strong bloody violence and gore throughout” by the Motion Picture Association of America.

We’ll get to see all those gory details when the movie premiers on 12 April 2019.
