The Avengers’ Hawkeye will star in his own Disney+ streaming series
Hawkeye, arguably the most questionable Avenger, is getting his own miniseries on Marvel-owner Disney’s streaming service, a report by Variety revealed on Wednesday.
Jeremy Renner, the actor who plays the comic book character in the Avengers movies, will reprise his role as the talented archer, also known as Clint Barton.
According to the reveal, the show heading to Disney+ will focus on Barton as he trains his successor Kate Bishop. Bishop, who will take on the mantle of Hawkeye, will also be a member of the Young Avengers.
There’s no indication of who will be cast as Bishop at present.
Though Disney and Marvel have not made the news official, the show is one of many Marvel series coming to Disney+, as the streaming service set to launch later this year.
