Google Home Mini plays sound effects while you read Disney stories
Google on Monday revealed that you can now read famous Disney stories with backstage help from your Google Home Mini smart speaker.
When reading the Little Golden Book versions of Disney tales, Google Home will provide music and sound effects to bring the stories to life as you read.
“It recognizes where you are in the book, so if you skip ahead or read your favorite part a few times, it can keep up with you and play the right sound effects,” the company explained on its blog.
The feature is aimed at parents who want to create are more memorable story time for their children.
According to the company, you can buy a Google Home Mini along with three Little Golden Books for around $50, however, the smart speaker is not officially available in South Africa.
