Tinder to debut a ‘choose-you-own-adventure’ series in October
Tinder is planning to drop a “choose-you-own-adventure” series next month, a report by Variety on Tuesday revealed.
Dubbed “Project X”, the series will take viewers through an apocalyptic adventure on Tinder, where they must swipe left or right to move along the plot.
According to Variety’s sources, the series will ask users who they would rather spend their last night on Earth with.
Shot on location in Mexico City, Tinder’s first show will be made up of six portrait-framed episodes featuring “up and coming actors”.
The company is reportedly considering airing the series on other video platforms as well.
As interactive video content gains popularity with the likes of Netflix’s Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and You vs Wild, it will be interesting to see what Tinder is capable of.
The unnamed series is expected to drop in the first week of October.
