‘Glorious Windows’ is a nightcore track made with Windows alerts
There’s nothing more annoying that Window’s notifications sounds, especially if said sounds mark a particularly significant system error. But although they do tend to signal the worst, a netizen has morphed these knells into something truly special.
“Glorious Windows” is a video and track made by YouTuber you2at that uses a number of altered, chopped and pitched Windows alerts, dings and dongs from the OS’s history to make one seriously addictive jingle. The video itself also pays homage to the serious of popups users will face while using Windows.
It’s filled with plenty of ambience and a certain interstellar quality while in the style of a typical nightcore club stomper. TL;DR, it’s just really something you should have a listen to.
Although the video is relatively new and only gained about 9900 views at the time of writing, only three of 346 reactions are negative.
Have a look and listen to the track below.
