Amy Winehouse will tour next year (as a hologram)

Amy Winehouse will be making a comeback via hologram when Base Hologram takes her on tour with a live band next year.
“Utilizing new state-of-the-art proprietary technology, the production will launch towards the end of 2019. Featuring digitally remastered arrangements of her classics,” the company announced on its website.
The R&B jazz singer, who died back in 2011, will be the latest deceased star to perform on stage, with the likes of Tupac and Michael Jackson having appeared before.
According to Base Holograms, the tour will raise funds towards The Amy Winehouse Foundation, a charity in the singer’s name that helps to prevent drug and alcohol abuse. It was alcohol poisoning that ultimately killed Winehouse.
Which countries and cities the tour will be visiting are still unknown.
“The hologram will be backed by a live band, singers and theatrical stagecraft,” the company explains.
