Doctor Who will stream exclusively on HBO Max in 2020
WarnerMedia’s upcoming streaming service HBO Max will be the exclusive home of Doctor Who when the platform launches next year, a report by Variety revealed on Thursday.
According to the publication, previous and future Doctor Who seasons will be available on HBO Max as part of a deal with BBC.
The Office and Top Gear are some of the other BBC shows that will be available on the platform as well.
HBO Max is set to launch in 2020. and has already snagged the rights to shows like Friends, and Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in international markets.
At present, Showmax has the rights to broadcast Doctor Who on its streaming platform.
