Naked runner spoofs viral downhill skater for Rhino awareness
There’s a fair chance that you’ve seen the video of a downhill skater going fast enough to set off a speed camera in Cape Town, South Africa. It later turned out that it was the car tracking him which actually set of the camera, but the video went viral nonetheless.
Called “Spoofing the Traffic Camera – Longboarding without Limits”, it’s been viewed over a million times on YouTube and caused a fair amount of controversy in the city it was filmed in.
Now a new video has emerged spoofing the infamous skater. Rather than a speedy skater however, we’re presented with a rather more dubiously speedy runner making his way down the hill…in the buff.
The video was however made for a good cause — awareness around the illegal poaching of rhinos in the country. Toward the end of the video, you can see that the runner has “Save the Rhinos” written on his back, as well as a plastic horn from the Rhinose Foundation that was protecting him from complete exposure on his run.
