The Super Angry Birds controller you’ll never have

It’s an obsession, Angry Birds. An addictive, mind-numbing guilty pleasure. But if you always felt like it wasn’t interactive enough, take a look at this.

It’s called the Super Angry Birds controller. It simulates the real motion of the slingshot, angle and all, to give the player more integrated gameplay. On top of that, there’s a cartoon style explosion switch to activate each bird’s special power. It’ll make you feel like Wile E. Coyote.

How it works is all very complicated, but all you need to know is that it works, and that you can’t have it. Developed by the Copenhagen Institute of Interactive Design, it’s not for sale. Nor will it be put into production for sale. It is purely a concept. So, if you really want one, watch the video carefully to see how they did it.
