An Olympus point and shoot is snapped in the wild
The point-and-shoot might be a dying breed but that doesn’t mean that the manufacturers can’t occasionally crack out something fun.
Case in point: an as yet unnamed Olympus has been spotted by Digicam Info:
As Engadget points out, the camera could well be a successor to the XZ-1 model. It certainly looks the same, although a faux-leather grip and a toggle have been added.
If you suddenly feel a little adventurous you can also kit it out with a tough-looking underwater cover. If you want tough though, I’d wait to see if Olympus produces a successor to the TG-1, which was essentially a modded out XZ-1.
